Steve Saiz

Born in Los Angeles to a Pastor and History Professor, I had no choice, but to be a lifelong student. People and community were the building blocks of my early life. Who knew they would eventually encompass my career? After high school, I jumped into the workforce ever-so-confident in my ability to climb the corporate ladder with my God-given abilities. Reality hit me like a ton of bricks when a hiring CEO told me I wasn't "seasoned enough" for a dream job - she was right. I immediately went back to school, Mount Saint Mary’s University – Downtown Los Angeles, to build the foundation I previously thought unnecessary. After earning my MBA, I started, for the second time, searching for my dream job. After several years of searching, I found my home at State Farm. Owning a business with the primary goal of helping people is the opportunity of a lifetime. Supporting and educating (it's in my blood) customers is the most rewarding part of this business.

Amid this career transition, my wife (Britt) and I welcomed our first child, Raylan. We are a sports family, so my primary goal as a parent is to ensure his allegiance to the local professional basketball and baseball teams. Being a lifelong student is my superpower. Serving in the community is important to my team and I. We sponsor the Volley4Sound Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament in Hermosa Beach. We also rolled up our sleeves and coordinated the Earth Day Beach Clean Up in Manhattan Beach.
